We are not the National Weather Service. Live modules request NWS data, stamp the time, and link to weather.gov. If a call fails, you get that link — never a made-up temperature.

Where the numbers come from
- National Weather Service public API (api.weather.gov) for forecasts, observations, and alerts.
- U.S. Census ZIP Code Tabulation Areas and places for a ZIP or City, ST. The community name on a ZIP is the GeoNames postal place (CC BY 4.0). A street address still uses the Census geocoder.
- Optional browser location, only if you tap Use my location.
- NOAA/NESDIS GOES imagery on the radar page, labeled as theirs.
